Elizabeth “Biz” is our favorite Recruiter here at GlowTouch! When she isn’t helping grow the GlowTouch Family, she’s being a mom to three children. A 12-year-old boy that loves sports and drama, a 6-year-old boy that recently started karate and likes to create music, and her 3-year-old princess (secretly her favorite but don’t tell her boys)!

If she were stuck on an island and could take only three things, they would be: A boat and 2 paddles! Smart!

Her top three favorite foods: Hot wings, crab legs, and chips and queso/salsa. Now we see why she cannot narrow it down to just one.

The most random fact about Biz: She has the RAREST blood type AB-, only 1% of the population has this.

What Biz loves most about her role: I’ve always loved HR/Recruiting. Every day I meet new people from different career backgrounds, different ages, and cultures. I genuinely enjoy coming to work and the main reason is because my co-workers make it enjoyable; even in stressful moments, you know you have a good team to back you up. We may all be in different departments, but everyone takes the initiative to work together!

Tell us about your family. It’s just me and my lovely girlfriend of 9 years, Jesicah.

If you were stuck on an island and could take only 3 things, what would they be? My music collection, a pillow and polar bear (for my “Lost” TV show fans)

What is your favorite restaurant or food? Texas Roadhouse ALL DAY! Gimmie those ROLLS!

What’s the most random fact you can share about yourself? I worked for a local Radio Station in the mid to late 90’s.

Do you have a bucket list? What’s on it, if you do? Not a bucket list per se, but a travel list: Las Vegas, Colorado, Japan, Cuba, and Alaska are in my top 5.

What do you love most about your job at GlowTouch Technologies? I really enjoy being one of the first people that new hires get to interact with. I get to help set up their career paths and help them understand the culture that GlowTouch has set up for us. Being able to see them succeed from the beginning and watching them use the tools and resources that I have helped to provide to them, is very rewarding for me. I simply love what I do!

Tell us about your family. I have 3 adult children who I truly love with all of my heart. My oldest daughter is 29, Ty, my second oldest daughter is 24, Tee, and my youngest child is my son who is 21 yrs old, Tay. Also I am the proud Granny of Tylyn who is 6 months! They all are my World!

If you were stuck on an island and could take only 3 things, what would they be? I would take 3 books because I love to read.

What is your favorite restaurant or food? Mexican food or spicy chicken from Indi’s lol.

What’s the most random fact you can share about yourself? I applied to go on Jeopardy.

Do you have a bucket list? What’s on it, if you do? I do not have a bucket list, just live out each day as best as I can.

What do you love most about your job at GlowTouch Technologies? Everything about it.

Tell us about your family. All my family is from Lexington KY. We’re close knit to the point where some of my family members live in the same neighborhood. There’s my Mom and stepfather and I have 3 younger siblings. My sister is a junior at UK. Both my young brothers go the elementary school where I pretty much went. And my Grandma lives a few blocks from my parents’ house. I also have my Father and Stepmother along with my step brother who is autistic. All these people have been in my corner and rooting for my journey since day 1.

If you were stuck on an island and could take only 3 things, what would they be? If I was stuck on an island I would bring 1. Food, obviously. 2. A survival book on how to survive deserted islands. And 3. A book called Children of Blood and Bone, one of my favorite books.

What is your favorite restaurant or food? I don’t have a favorite restaurant; I usually try to keep my food pallet pretty open for ideas. But I love pasta. All kinds of pasta.

What’s the most random fact you can share about yourself? I love to write, ever since I was a child I would write my own little comic strips. My life goal is to become a published author of many books.

Do you have a bucket list? What’s on it, if you do? I want to visit Egypt. The Mummy is a childhood favorite and I would love to see the Pyramids up close. I’m not ready for the heat though.

What do you love most about your job at GlowTouch Technologies? What I love about Glowtouch Technologies is the community. I’ve never been a part of a community that strives to create a happy working environment for its employees.

Tell us about your family. Whew – I stay busy! I’ve got two kiddos of my own, Oliver and Dahlia and a bonus daughter, Sylvanna, who came as a package deal with my boyfriend Kyle. We live out in the country (middle of a giant cornfield) in a 150 yr old farmhouse and love every minute of it!

If you were stuck on an island and could take only 3 things, what would they be? Given I wouldn’t be able to take a boat, life jacket, and oars to assist in my own rescue, I would take a fishing pole, tree seeds, and a weighted blanket – to either keep me warm at night or to double as shelter.

What is your favorite restaurant or food? This is a tricky one cause I’m not picky AT ALL and love most foods. Lol Honestly though, it would probably be anywhere that serves street-style tacos!

What’s the most random fact you can share about yourself? Hmm… I’m double-jointed in my thumbs, am left-handed, and traveled the state as a kid playing All-Star ball! (baseball/softball)

Do you have a bucket list? What’s on it, if you do? I do and TRAVELING!!! I have an endless list of destinations I plan to visit and the soul of a NOMAD – the possibilities are endless!

What do you love most about your job at GlowTouch Technologies? I LOVE helping people reach their full potential!!! Being a sales team, this job is tough and it’s easy for people to get discouraged. It feels good to pump them back up and to see them turn themselves around!
