March 31, 2010: Diya Systems (Mangalore) Pvt. Ltd. (GlowTouch Technologies), in joint association with Fr. Mullers Medical College Hospital organized a Blood Donation Camp today (March 31st) at their own Campus.
The Blood Donation Camp was inaugurated by chief guests Dr. B. Srinivas Kakkilaya one of the renowned Physicians of Mangalore, Dr. Bharath Kumar (Company Physician), Dr. V. Ravichandran (C.E.O) and Mrs. Indira Ravichandran (Managing Director) by lighting of the lamp.
The staff of Diya Systems extended their complete cooperation and support by donating their blood. Around 100 employees in total volunteered themselves for this noble cause.
This is the second time Diya Systems / GlowTouch Technologies is organizing the blood donation camp and Dr. Ravichandran’s intention is to conduct this camp on an ongoing basis atleast twice a year.
"Job fair is the best solution for unemployed"
Mangalore, Mar 21: Job Fair is one of the means to bring down unemployment in the Country. In this regard, the Government is also striving hard towards fulfilling the needs of the unemployed, declared the Hon’ble District in Charge Minister Mr. Krishna Palemar.
Govt. of Karnataka, Dakshina Kannada District, Human Resource Development Center, Dakshina Kannada, Mangalore (District Employment Exchange) in Joint Collaboration with Diya Systems (Mangalore) Pvt. Ltd. had organized a Job Fair in Karnataka Polytechnic which was inaugurated by Mr. Krishna Palemar.
Previously, the job fair which was organized by the Human Resource Development Center, Dakshina Kannada, Mangalore has registered around 15,000 unemployed candidates out of which only 2500 have been employed and 4000 are undergoing training.
Diya Systems has already provided employment opportunities to more than 800 candidates which is highly commendable. Mr. Palemar mentioned that the Government is ready to provide land and other amenities at a concessional rate to develop such Companies which are free from polluting the environment rather than to those who are polluting the environment besides lack in providing employment opportunities to the residents.

GlowTouch Technologies Donates to Flood Relief and Red Cross Efforts in Southern India
LOUISVILLE, KY and Mangalore, India / October 28, 2009 – GlowTouch Technologies, a Louisville, KY-based IT outsourcing services provider, recently launched a charitable campaign to help victims of the flood in the northern part of India’s Karnataka state that claimed 168 lives. The company has a development center located in Mangalore in Karnataka.
The management and staff of GlowTouch Technologies felt it their social responsibility to render support to the people of the flood-afflicted areas. In addition to the employees donating clothes and services through the Red Cross, GlowTouch CEO Dr. V. Ravichandran made a generous cash donation on behalf of GlowTouch for the flood victims. "We needed to take action, and I am grateful to GlowTouch employees for giving back to the affected people of Karnataka and Andhra during this time of need," said Dr. Ravichandran.
